Dr. Zyad M. Saeed, FFICM, EDIC, FRCEM, MRCS, MBChB, BMedSc, is a consultant physician with dual UK CCT accreditation in Critical Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine, and has over 16 years of clinical experience. He currently serves as Consultant in Critical Care and Head of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Department at University Hospital Sharjah, in addition to practising at Mediclinic City Hospital, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Dr Saeed is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor at two prestigious academic institutions: the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) in Dubai, and the University of Sharjah. In addition to his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical education, hospital management, and national health programmes such as organ donation in the UAE.
Dr. Antonio Puppo Moreno
Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine, practising as an intensivist in the city of Seville.
He carries out his clinical work in the Intensive Care Unit at Hospital Viamed Fátima, while also maintaining a professional affiliation with the Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocío.
He holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery, with a specialization in Intensive Care Medicine, and possesses extensive clinical experience in the comprehensive management of critically ill patients. He actively participates in academic and scientific activities, including conferences and specialised forums, where he has served as a speaker and moderator in sessions related to intensive care medicine and the application of artificial intelligence in clinical practice.
He is the author of scientific publications related to intensive care medicine and hospital-based clinical research. Recently, he was appointed Corresponding Member of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Seville, where he presented a lecture entitled 'From Scientific Medicine to Artificial Intelligence: the Perspective of an Intensivist'.
