Malaria is an infectious disease caused by parasite of the genus Plasmodium and is transmitted by a vector, the female mosquito Anopheles, which it feeds on blood. There are several typed of Plasmodium parasites, some of them cause symptoms without complications and others can cause very severe symptoms. The parasites go inside and outof the people through the infected Anopheles mosquito bites.
